Pinball Roulette swaps the wheel for a board of pegs and bumpers. A ball drops, bounces, and lands in one of 37 numbered pockets, and from there it’s European roulette: 35:1 on a straight-up, 2.70% edge, same bets as any single-zero table. What’s different is the optional gamble after a win, which sends the ball into a second board that can multiply your payout or lose it. Where to play Pinball Roulette for real money in the UK, the honest odds, and why I’d leave the gamble alone.

Play Pinball Roulette online for real money
It’s a Playtech title, so the bookmaker-owned casinos and other Playtech lobbies carry it. Ratings are ours.
One thing to check at the site you pick: the minimum. Sources quote everything from 1p to £1 and the provider doesn’t say, so the limits panel is the only answer.
What Pinball Roulette is, and who made it
Playtech released it in August 2016. Some searches pair it with Novomatic; that’s wrong. Novomatic’s online roulette titles are their own and this isn’t one of them. The game started in Flash and now runs in HTML5, with the mobile build getting a darker palette, four favourite-bet slots, autoplay and a double-bet button that the desktop version lacks. One source flags iOS issues. Not verified.
The mechanic: you place normal roulette bets on a standard layout. Instead of a wheel, the ball launches into a pinball board, ricochets off the pegs, and settles in a pocket numbered 0 to 36. The result is a single-zero outcome; the board is theatre. Retro arcade graphics, a turbo option to skip the animation once the novelty wears off.
Neighbours bets cover your number plus two each side. No racetrack beyond that.
Odds and RTP: base game
97.30% on the base game, third-party but consistent, and the only figure a 37-pocket layout at 35:1 can give. 2.70% edge on every standard bet. Watch out for the site that quotes “30/1” on a straight-up; it’s 35:1.
| Bet | Numbers | Payout | House edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Straight-up | 1 | 35:1 | 2.70% |
| Split | 2 | 17:1 | 2.70% |
| Street | 3 | 11:1 | 2.70% |
| Corner | 4 | 8:1 | 2.70% |
| Six line | 6 | 5:1 | 2.70% |
| Column / Dozen | 12 | 2:1 | 2.70% |
| Red/Black, Odd/Even, High/Low | 18 | 1:1 | 2.70% |
| Gamble feature | — | Up to 5x or 10x (conflicting) | Not published |
£5 a spin, 100 spins, base game only: expect to lose about £13.50. Standard. The pinball board doesn’t change that, and neither does the animation.
No La Partage. For even-money bets a French table at 1.35% halves the cost; this is a 2.70% game however the ball gets there.
The gamble feature
After any winning spin you get a choice: Collect, or Gamble. Gamble drops the ball into a second pinball board. Multiplier bumpers raise the multiplier as it bounces; land in a multiplier pocket and your win is multiplied, land in the lose slot and the win is gone.
How high it goes is where sources disagree. Several say a maximum of 10x; one describes bumpers of 1x to 4x stacking to 5x. Max win is reported as 10x the total bet. Not verified. What nobody publishes is the return on the gamble itself: how often the lose slot takes the lot versus how often a multiplier lands. Without that, it’s a bet with an unknown edge, and Playtech isn’t under any obligation to make it a fair one.
My rule: Collect, every time. The base game is honest. The gamble is a black box that can erase a 35:1 win. If you want a multiplier on your straight-ups with a published return, Lightning Roulette at least tells you the number is 97.10%.
Limits
Minimum conflicts badly: 1p, 10p, 20p and £1 all appear, set by operator and not disclosed by the provider. Maximum reported at £10,000 per table, £500 per one source, and £50 on a straight-up with £1,000 on outside bets per another. Not verified. Mobile and desktop may differ at the same casino.
Presentation
It looks like a 2016 Flash game with a retro skin, because that’s what it is. The pinball drop is fun for twenty spins and then you’ll want turbo. The mobile version is the better one: autoplay, four favourites, double-bet, darker interface. Desktop lacks autoplay entirely, which is an odd gap for a Playtech RNG table.
Who it’s for
Segment B players who want something that doesn’t look like every other RNG roulette, at 2.70% and a low minimum if the operator allows it. Fair enough; it’s honest underneath.
Not for anyone who’ll be tempted by the gamble prompt after every win. If that’s you, Premium Roulette Pro is the same maths with no button to press.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Different presentation on honest maths: 37 pockets, 35:1, 2.70%
- Gamble is optional; the base game never forces it
- Mobile build has autoplay, favourites and double-bet
- Low minimum where the operator sets it that way
Cons
- Gamble feature RTP not published; a lose slot makes it a separate bet with an unknown edge
- Multiplier cap and minimum stake conflict across every source
- Flash heritage; desktop has no autoplay; possible iOS issues reported
- No La Partage, no full racetrack
Verdict
Decent enough if you play it as roulette with a pinball animation and ignore the second board. The odds are the standard single-zero set and the novelty is harmless.
Press Gamble and you’ve left the published part of the game. I don’t, and I wouldn’t.
Rating: 3/5 base game · Not rated for the gamble feature
FAQ
Is Pinball Roulette by Novomatic or Playtech?
Playtech, released August 2016. The Novomatic pairing comes up in searches but isn’t right; Novomatic’s roulette games are separate titles.
What is the RTP of Pinball Roulette?
97.30% on the base game, the standard single-zero return, with a 2.70% house edge on every normal bet. The optional gamble feature has no published RTP.
Should I use the gamble feature?
No. It multiplies a win up to 5x or 10x depending on the source, but a lose slot can take the whole win and the odds aren’t disclosed. Collect and keep the 35:1.
Can I play Pinball Roulette for real money on mobile?
Yes, and the mobile version is the better one: HTML5, autoplay, four favourite-bet slots. Available at UKGC casinos with Playtech’s RNG games; minimums vary by operator from 1p to £1.
